DIAMOND DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE
The DDI is an NGO based in Canada that has been operating in the field of artisanal African mines for more than 10 years. Supported and encouraged by the world’s leading diamond companies in her work with mining communities, Dorothée Gizenga and her team have backed the MY FAIR DIAMOND project since the beginning, accompanying CAP source on its visits to sites in Sierra Leone to facilitate exchanges with local miners. CAP source and the DDI are very proud to have jointly concluded the first successful sale of Maendeleo diamonds in Koidu.

RESPONSIBLE JEWELLERY COUNCIL
CAP source is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council, an initiative of the jewellery sector with private, public and non-profit members that span the entire production chain, from mine to retail. Being a member involves complying with a code of ethical good practices and publishing transparent information on its suppliers and customers according to a ‘chain of custody’ approach.
With this project, CAP source is probably the first player to offer a guarantee of ethics and transparency across the artisanal diamond chain.
MY FAIR DIAMOND is the result of a collaboration between CAP source and several partners of choice. It is a collaborative brand, where the names and faces of each are known and appreciated for their contribution to the emergence of unique jewelery.
The MY FAIR DIAMOND adventure is supported by various players in the diamond and jewellery community.
